Watching
Shows, movies, the binge list.
Whatever’s keeping me company while the foot is up. Comfort rewatches, trashy reality, and the occasional prestige drama for the days I can actually focus.

The Beast in MeClaire Danes and Matthew Rhys glaring at each other across a property line for eight episodes, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Which, frankly, is exactly the kind of show I need right now: something gripping enough to keep me pinned to the couch instead of quietly scheming my next run. My foot thanks the writers.

Shipwrecked: Nightmare at SeaMy BFF came over and we ate seafood while watching poor souls escape a sinking ship. It was both interesting and mortifying. Reaffirms my decision to stay off cruise ships.

Harlan Coben's I Will Find YouTwo things sold me here. One, it's another one of those networks of characters doing terrible things to each other that Harlan Coben is known for. And two, Helly R. from Severance is in it! Please enjoy her outie doing suburban-thriller things.

Sullivan's CrossingMy new syrupy-sweet, guilty-pleasure, Gilmore Girls knock-off romance. Big-city doctor retreats to a quaint small town, sparks fly, feelings are felt. They even cast actual Luke, ball cap included, so honestly the knock-off isn't even hiding it. Neither am I. Zero shame, full commitment.

Widow's BayA cursed New England town, a mayor determined to make it a tourist trap anyway. So weird. So good.

The Bear (Season 5)Coming back around once again, for the last time. I hope my foot is taking notes and willing to bow out of orthopedic issues after this is done, too.

America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (Season 3)This one was parked on my watch list with a polite 'save it for later' note attached, but I couldn't wait that long, so I jumped the queue and started early. What can I say, the heart wants what the heart wants. #noshame
